Try just searching for the name of the old server in RegEdit. If that brings up too many unrelated results (which it may well do), the only other suggestion I can make is to use Process Monitor like I did.

Thank you very much for the this blog. It instantly resolved my issue.
I do still have another ongoing issue that I feel must be linked. When trying to Save or Open a file I get the same delay and “Not Responding” pause for a number of seconds prior to the Explorer box opening.
As My Documents are located on the same moved server would I be correct in thinking that it may be polling the old server first?
Any advice in finding the offending line in the Registry to try and rectify the problem?

I dabbled with Pages on an iPad at an Apple-store. It’s not so bad, using the provided templates.
I wouldn’t want to write a scientific paper or my thesis on it – but then, how many people actually write long documents?
I don’t share your general criticism of iWork. It’s not expensive and comes with some nice templates.

Actually the front page is one huge mistake. If only point 2 tells you to open the manual, how can you know point 1? So its actually not even possible to fulfill that easy task of two steps according to the manual.

Oh and I’ll note my conclusions were drawn from running Vista on my own work PC for several months – and it had 4GB RAM (when RAM was expensive) which I then upped to 8GB (and tried 64bit Vista).
