Reply To All
Every so often, someone will hit Reply To All on an email sent to all staff and send a personal message to the entire school.
That I can forgive. Things like this can be avoided by using Bcc lists in the first place (or learning some hand-eye coordination to hit the right button), but accidents will happen.
However, what inevitably follows is somebody else doing the same thing – usually to helpfully inform everyone that they shouldn’t hit Reply To All. If the irony of what they’ve done ever dawns on them they will later claim they were making a point, even after they did it the third time.
I don’t care what your reason is. Just stop it. I don’t need half my day’s inbox to be replies to the same message over and over and OVER AND OVER – and nor does the rest of the school.
