Some things never change

Once again, a teacher who came on site for a 10-minute visit implied that we are doing naff all this week and getting paid for it, when in fact we are run ragged, as is usual for half-term.

This despite the fact that she actually is getting paid for doing naff all this week.

This is why i have no sympathy for teachers! who come in school over half term then moan that they cant log on cause a room is down being imaged or something! See You Next Tuesdays!!!!

Whoops – I started my first blog post of this week with the sentence:
“It’s half-term week, so that should mean a quieter time than normal, with less students and teachers wandering into the IT room…”

    But then the second said:
“Today’s ‘half-term training session’ is the one that will hopefully give the The Angry Technician a reason to smile”

So perhaps I’ll only get 50% of the ire directed my way!

Well, our breaks are certainly quiet, just not especially relaxing due to the amount of stuff we have to try and get through while we have some time to work uninterrupted.

The nicest part of there being very few people on site to support is that I can push my working day back to a 10.00 start and have a lie-in (at least compared to my normal 06.30 rise).
